One of my students (who is diagnosed with severe autism) cried for the first time today.
4 years ago, he was known for his self-injurious/ aggressive behaviors. 3 years ago, we met. 1 year ago, he learned to be 70% independent and able to use simple words/ phrases. And today, he showed care and emotions.

This is a ground breaking.

Sean cleared/ organized out our pantry and I canned some peaches. We are one step closer to being prepared for the apocalypse. It feels awesome.
